Project overview:
Wright Photo had the pleasure of documenting one of the most magical natural wonders in the Southeast at Little Saint Simons Island. I take pride in the Art Direction, Photo Production and Second Shooting of this project.
This magnificent eco-resort is only accessible by boat, and boasts miles of private beach, wetlands and maritime forest — allowing countless opportunities to immerse yourself in nature. Each day was a race to capture a never ending display of natural beauty — from sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean to sunset over Mosquito Creek. This project tested our two person team in many ways as we photographed lifestyle shots of guests, jaw-dropping landscapes, unique & exotic wildlife, gourmet meals and architectural photos of the lodging available on the island.
This was definitely one of Wright Photo's most challenging and rewarding clients — as we worked our way through demanding shot lists — later taking pride seeing our images published in some of the finest travel publications in the world, including Conde-Nast Traveler, Garden & Gun and National Geographic.
